Job Description

20795 Test Automation Engr II (Open)Position Type:Full timeLocation(s):IN.Bangalore.Office1Summary:As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be focused on automating the testing of software executing on Windows and Linux environments. You will join a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment where learning and teaching of skills is encouraged. You will strive to automate everything possible. You will work with the development and testing teams to further grow and enhance our functional and performance automation test coverage. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about automation, product quality test tools, test processes, product features and ensuring the right test strategy is built into the business to deliver quality services to our customers. It will be the Software Test Engineer s responsibility to develop and enhance test automation frameworks, tools and explore new test automation tools/methods.Position Details:Position Details:

  • Responsible for testing new or modified software to ensure a level of quality and conformance to requirement and established standards.
  • Develop test methods, software, and hardware design, install software and develop automation in coordination with development team (knowledge of Visual Studio, C# and Specflow is a great plus).
  • Initiate and drive the development and review of test processes, plans and procedures following CSGI test platform.
  • Execute tests against hardware and software to validate features, functionality, and performance.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.
  • Support the ongoing problem resolution and upgrade of current production automated and semi-automated test systems.
  • Document results and work closely with developers and others to analyze and debug issues.
  • Research, recommend and develop new test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Utilize continuous integration tools such as Jenkins to execute automated tests.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • 5 years of Quality Assurance Testing experience is required.
  • 2 years of testing automation and 2 years of experience with scripting test automation tools.
  • 2 years of experience with performance testing with tools.
  • Must have excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Must have good project management skills, keen attention to detail and self-direction and work with minimum supervision.
Preferred Skills:
  • 2 years preferred experience working with programming languages (C# Script, PowerShell) and relational database systems, including SQL query development.
  • Exposure to WCF services and XML is a plus.
  • Experience with automated acceptance tests is desired (ATTD, SpecFlow, BDD).
  • Agile Environment/Scrum exposure is desired.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
