Job Description

Job Title : Test Engineer 2 - Cloud Platforms(AWS, AZURE,GCP) ,Virtualization, Dell R & D BangaloreDellEMC is leader in Server, Storage and Networking and continues to invest heavily in our solution portfolio expansion with the demand to deliver the value of these solutions to our end customers increasing at a phenomenal pace. As a Systems Engineer in Dell s Server and Infrastructure Systems group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a leading edge encryption and key management software solution space.Primary responsibilities include:

  • Work within Agile develop teams to develop test cases, configure & execute on cloud platforms.
  • Work with Dell software partners and Enterprise server teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Procure and manage lab infrastructure Servers, Network switches and Storage
  • Configure Hardware, Operating System, Clusters and Virtual Machines
  • Sustaining support of customer escalations to engineering.
  • Hardware issue triage and support during Secure software development development lifecycle.
  • New component, peripheral device, system or software qualification.
  • Perform System, load and integration test on DellEMC Storage and Security products.
Required Skills:
  • Experience with AWS Testing; Cloud Platform(AZure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter and vSAN.
  • Experience with Dell EMC Enterprise servers and network switches is a plus.
  • Experience with Enterprise Server hardware and technologies including Server, Storage controllers, Ethernet adapters, memory modules, processor models, remote management cards.
  • Network configuration and debugging experience (HTTP, SNMP, NFS, etc.) is good to have
  • Experience with existing software defined storage or security solutions a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
Desirable Requirements:
  • 4 to 6 Years of experience
  • Educational Qualification (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS/MCA)
  • Highly capable at engineering analysis, problem solving and debug
  • Proven ability in executing complex validation efforts across multiple engineering and geographically disparate teams
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Self-driven. Good in time management
  • Understanding and experience on automation is an added advantage
