Job Description

18813 Test Engineer Senior (Open)Position Type:Full timeLocation(s):IN.Bangalore.Office1Summary:tTakes a leadership role in increasing the percentage of automated versus manual test cases and understands the ROI and Test automation Productivity metrics tDesign, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework. tTests front-end and back-end software components including Services layers and APIs tWork on all test layers unit test, component tests, integration tests, end to end testing and UAT. tBuilds, executes, and maintain test automation suite using one or more test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium tProvides training and mentoring to junior test engineers. This includes conducting code reviews, training junior test engineers on new coding and testing methodologies, guidelines, and best practices. This role may be asked to assign and assist in validating work. tExperienced with different design patterns for test automation development tWorks as part of a scrum team in an agile environment. tWillingness to step-in and manually test as necessary. tProven ability to prepare, review and analyse test plans, test cases and test reports and coordinate defect logging and management tGood understanding of AWS or any could platforms would be an advantagePosition Details:Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6 years of Automated Testing Experience
  • Must have strong knowledge of Test methodologies and techniques
  • Experience in developing: Java / C#, Python
  • Experience testing APIs and UI: REST, post.pl graphql, json, xml, xpath, ChroPath
  • Experience with API testing tools: postman, soapui, jsonpth, xmlpath
  • Experience with load testing tools: BlazeMeter, Jmeter, load runner, gatling
  • Experience with any one Automation Framework: Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, fitnesse, cucumber and .NET
  • Strong knowledge of DB / SQL: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Reddis, Aurora
  • Must have working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards, and best practices in QA and automation.
  • Experience with large data set creation, back-end testing (SQL), being able to validate information as it flows throughout the system.
  • Knowledge of load test theory and strategy
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
