Job Description

Desired Skills:

  • Should have worked as automation Lead
  • OOPC -object oriented Prog Lang, one of the OOPs lang & should be ready to switch the language if required
  • Should have Worked on Automation & developing framework
  • Estimates for Prog automation, give automation plan
  • Domain not mandated
  • Key skill - AL, OOPC, OOPS concept. Lead role, Auto framework, Python, SDET
  • Virtualization also as domain can be considered
Required Skills:
  • Project experience in Systems Management / network management domain of about 6-9 years
  • Hands-on experience with GUI/API/CLI based automation development
  • Design and develop automation framework
  • Hands-on experience in white box testing
  • Proficient in OOPS concepts
  • Should have strong testing fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience in Functional testing, product Integration testing or system testing.
  • Strong conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Should have good working knowledge of one or more Server operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working on Agile development model
  • Experience in implementing and consuming web services SOAP and Rest APIsFamiliarity with continuous integration and code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, or Clear Case)
Key responsibilities:
  • Develops and documents test plans and test cases for newly developed or current solutions products
  • Develop white box testing strategies, working closely with development counterparts
  • Develops test tools and automation
  • Directs a test team during test execution, and reports results to development engineers and leadership
  • Creates test plans that include resource requirements, schedule assumptions and scope based on inputs from the Development and Marketing
  • Provides a High Level Test Strategy and comprehensive test plan
  • Oversees the execution and reports the results of product validation on new hardware and solutions products
  • Interfaces with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and tests coverage across multiple test organizations
  • Manages and reports on test deliverables and test execution from validation partners
  • Guiding/Mentoring Junior team members.
  • Prepare status reports & Identify/Call out risks, Post Project Analysis.
  • Present status/Strategy/Plan/Post project analysis to Middle / Senior Management
  • Experience in GUI/CLI/API automation.
  • Develop automation scripts in areas of Validation ownership.
  • Estimate test efforts/ hardware needs
