Job Description

Test Senior Principal Engineer(I9)

  • 15+ Yrs. of industry testing experience in Test Automation and played Test Automation Architect/Technologist in Server, Software / System Mgmt Testing domain, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Strong Experience in Automation framework, Automation content development for both CLI and GUI-based scripts.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Strong in testing concepts.
  • Requirements:
  • Test Engineer & Automation Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing test cases and automation scripts, Automation framework
  • Collaborating with Software Developers for issue triaging and debugging.
  • Ability to perform whitebox testing
  • Experience with Code coverage tools
  • Good technical knowledge in the area of servers and systems management.
  • Keeping updated with the latest industry developments on systems management.
  • Developing Automation Test strategy & planning.
  • Plan and estimate their work as well as for other team members
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and execute quality testing activities.
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured Automation test plans and test cases.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Strong Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on Experience with functional & Non-functional testing tools
  • Experience working in an Agile/waterfall development process
  • Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycles
  • Working knowledge on Automation area it terms on providing feedback for better automatability, Test case design, Defining Automation efforts priority.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate with international teams and interfaces outside of the local site
  • Responsibilities
  • Developing Automation strategy for given requirements.
  • Ability to define and develop an automation framework.
  • Drive Automation goals and meeting Automation KPIs
  • Defines and implements new test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage Implements a continuous improvement process for test plans, test cases, and automation during and after test projects
  • Mentors new engineers in the test group Evaluate the effectiveness of the test plan during and after test projects Evaluate test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage
  • Drives use of automation and test tools and push for process improvement where possible Works with the extended engineering team to ensure completion of all required testing and monitors project progression Develops and executes test automation scripts
