Job Description

Netcool/Omnibus and Netcool Impact Administration

Strong knowledge on Omnibus probes/gateways: MTTRAPD, EMAIL, PING and JDBC
Knowledge on Netcool/Omnibus and Netcool Impact upgrade activities
Knowledge on Lookup, rules file, Props file etc.
Experience in Troubleshooting Netcool/omnibus and impact issue
Integrate many technologies to Omnibus like Storage, Server Hardware, Network devices etc
Netcool automation - Triggers, Procedures etc.
SNMP v2 and v3 configuration
Knowledge on Netcool Operations Insights
Knowledge on correlation and service mapping
Basic knowledge on SQL quires
Participated in Estimation, Planning and is responsible to deliver as per the plan
Good hands on experience on writing Impact policies and various integrations using Impact
Basic knowledge on any of below element managers - SCOM /Solarwinds /Zenoss /Foglight /AppDynamics
Good understanding of Linux and Windows Operating System
Should have knowledge on any one of the scripting (shell/Python/Perl)
