Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs. Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from highlevel design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing. Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:Candidate must have a Bachelors / Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or other related field of study and with 8+ years of industry experience OR masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 5+ years experience in VLSI design with focus in synthesis, place and route.Skills:o Solid understanding of physical aspect of VLSI designs o Deep knowledge in RTL2GDS including Floor planning, synthesis, place & route, clock construction o Hands on experience PPA (Power, Performance, Area) Optimization o Good understanding in layout, timing, LEC verification o 2+ year experience in one ore more of the Industry standard tools for P&R, synthesis and timing convergence. o Expert in TCL, Python, PERL and other scripting languages Inside this Business GroupThe Design Engineering Group is a worldwide team responsible for the design, development, validation, and manufacturing of IPs and SOCs.
