Job Description

*Experience8 - 10 years of Sound experience in developing Automotive SW solutions, 2 - 3 years as technical lead for HMI SW developmentJob Responsibilities

  • Lead HMI SW Development for Trucks and Buses
  • Support interdisciplinary projects with agile teams
  • Ensure the software is HMI Compliant on memory management, performance, stability and scalability
  • Derive Test Scenarios for Functional & Non functional testing, performance tests, regression testing and role based validation
  • Propose tools and methods to increase efficiently and quality of development
  • Lead Milestone planning meetings with teams, Product Owner and Feature Owners
  • Assess Project risks, implement quick mitigation and provide transparent status to management
  • Mentoring and internship for new joinees and interns for early deployment in projects
  • Responsible to lead a team of about 4-5 engineers
  • Customer relationship and technology understanding, for software development as per the organization strategy
  • Flexible to travel globally based on business need to participate in various supplier discussions, technical and management discussions
Skills Required Automotive domain expertise HMI SW Design and Development
  • Expertise in HMI tool chain with experience in atleast one of the tools - Kanzi, QT, QML with key skills in View Development, State machine development using OO approach
  • Good GPU and CPU debugging and optimization skills
  • Experience in Embedded HMI software development
  • Experience in Linux, Yocto, Automotive Android, QNX, Integrity
  • Knowledge in application of natural language processing methods like text synthesizer, speech extraction ( Eg : Nuance ) Good experience of various quality standards & practices for automotive product development
  • Excellent analytical skills, trouble shooting technical issues and structured and target oriented approach to work
  • Personal initiative and commitment
  • Well developed communication and teamwork skills
  • Building Test systems and trouble shooting complex technical issues ; solid hardware debugging skills
  • Knowledge of German/Japanese language will be helpful
, *Bachelors or Masters of Engineering in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronics stream
