Job Description

*Essential Skills :

Experience in Model Based Design using Simulink/State flow tool or any related modeling tools
Detailed understanding of ISO 26262 standard and development life cycle
Know how on safety management (part 2) as per ISO 26262 standard
Know how/working experience in part 3 of ISO 26262 standard
Working experience in Part 4 and Part 6 of ISO 26262 standard
Know how/working experience in tool selection, tool qualification and other supporting process as per part 8 of ISO 26262 standard
Working experience on analysis methods like FMEA, FTA, HAZOP etc.
Exposure to Model In Loop (MIL), Software In Loop (SIL) and Hardware In Loop (HIL) simulation and testing
Good knowledge on ECU based controls
Proficient in MATLAB scripting
Good Knowledge in embedded C
Good communication and presentation skills
Good skills with respect to Abstract and logical reasoning

Desired Key Skills:

Understanding of the functions of IC engines and Transmission controls
Understanding of SW development tools and development process
Good Knowledge in Auto code generation
Be a team player and leader complimenting other team members whenever required

Job Responsibilities:

To perform HARA, HAZOP (or any related methods), FTA for Powertrain based E/E systems
Create Functional safety concepts, Technical safety concepts for Powertrain based E/E systems
Development of safety mechanism for Transmission related E/E systems as per ISO standard
Develop, Verify & Validate (MIL, SIL, PIL & HIL) safety mechanisms/concepts using MATLAB/Simulink & Target link.
Develop Test scenarios for Software components and Systems, based on functional safety requirements as per ISO 26262 standard
Define strategy and develop tools and scripts to improve the efficiency of software development process.
Interaction with counter parts for requirement elicitation and status update
