Job Description

e are seeking a creative, talented and knowledgeable designer capable of producing stunning, user- centric web and mobile interfaces, with the skills not only to create high quality graphics, but also to understand how the users will want to instinctively interact with the UI and provide the users the ability to perform their tasks intuitively. Required skill set & qualities

  • Design Tools: Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks
  • Front end Technologies: In- depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
  • Understanding of how to construct designs flexible enough to display across multiple browsers, screen sizes, platforms and devices
  • Practical understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process
  • Passionate and intimately knowledgeable about all things related to web and mobile. The candidate must absolutely be in sync with recent design standards and trends
  • Excellent time- management, multi- tasking, and communication skills
  • Self- starter, who is, able to collaborate actively with others in a cross- functional team
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • rsquoRoll- up your sleeveslsquo attitude to get things done
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Overall responsibility in understanding product features and converting that into appealing, highly usable interfaces.
  • Develops an understanding of end users of the website/mobile application through secondary and primary research (user interviews). Capable of generating user personas and user scenarios. Performing a field research to discover and implement important design details that people may not realize they need.
  • Preparing prototypes of sites/applications/features (ranging from paper- and- pencil concepts to wire frames or interactive prototypes).
  • Incorporating usability testing feedback. Eliciting constructive feedback and having a capability of interpreting that feedback into design solutions.
  • Supporting product branding activities
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3yrs of experience as a web and mobile interface designer with a solid portfolio to demonstrate the design savy.
  • Multiple working expertise in mobile platforms - iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7.
