Job Description

Rules UI Developer Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze requirements from business users, understand functional specifications of rules
  • Learn business rules engine product using online demos and courses and start configuring and creating rules in a short span of time (2 weeks)
  • Design, develop, test, package and deploy rules, rule integration with external applications using REST API/Web services
  • Design, develop, test, package and deploy code for rule author UI using low-code or no-code development platforms.
  • Support QMO team during testing cycles analyze data, fix defects, and redeploy
  • Automate deployment using Jenkins
  • Highlight any challenges or issues in rule hierarchy and structure and work with team lead to remediate
  • Create necessary documentation on functional and technical specification of rules
  • Understand change and release management process defined by client and follow the same for any deployment.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency programming using - C#, .Net, jReact.Js, Node.JS, JavaScript, PHP, HTML5
  • Database knowledge in; SQL, or Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, RedShift
  • Experience in building REST services, WCF services, Web applications
  • DevOps experience using Jenkins
  • Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding, and documentation as well as change management procedures
  • Proficiency using versioning tools: GIT
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
  • Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
Required Experience
  • 5-7 years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience
  • Any experience in low code/no code platform development
  • Any experience in Business rule Engine such as Drools is a plus.
