    • Exposure to Payments, Taxation, or Reconciliation preferred
    Job SummaryWe are hiring professionals for Merchant Taxation Operations within the US Payments domain. The role involves handling IRS notices, merchant tax validations, collections processing, and compliance activities, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
    • Review IRS / government levy notices and identify merchants
    • Verify merchant activity status and apply holds where required
    • Initiate collections and coordinate with accounting teams
    • Process cheque requests and payment-related activities
    • Manage inactive merchant responses as per SOP guidelines
    • Validate TIN/EIN details and update tax reporting systems
    • Handle unclaimed/dormant assets and support escheatment reporting
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
    Required Skills
    • Banking / Payments / FinOps / Back-office experience
    • Understanding of IRS notices and taxation workflows
    • Strong Excel and data handling skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good communication and stakeholder coordination
    • Knowledge of reconciliation and compliance processes
