Because it s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people s lives.SummaryWe at S/4 PMCIE organization, part of the Intelligent Enterprise Group board area cater to innovations across various Industries and Strategic topics like SAP Cloud Platform, S/4, Fiori, Mobile, Analytics and especially in one of the major focus industries like Discrete Industries with a broad portfolio of SAP products in consumable sizes and thus shorten the time-to-value for our customers.We are seeking a user assistance developer-technical writer to join our software development unit in Bangalore.As a member of the Discrete Industries UA team, you will have the opportunity to learn and explore a range of product lines spanning SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform and many more. The position is on a full-time, permanent employment basis.RoleAs a member of the user assistance team, you are responsible for the UA content of your scrum teams. This would include:

• Researching and defining terminology
• Editing user interface texts to ensure usability and that the texts conform to SAP s standards
• Planning, researching, and writing the documentation (such as context-sensitive help, user guides) required by SAP s customers. You will also be required to create product videos, and at times blog about a specific feature.
• Interactions with SAP s customers, and partners on UA projects, where relevant
• Be the UX Advocate for your scrum teams
• Serve as central contact and coordinate related activities for Industry Cloud UA deliverables
• Ensure a harmonized set of UA deliverables across industry projects
• Create various documentation and end-user assets, from how-to guides to business scenario documents, interactive recordings or videos
• Give guidance to industry project team members (e.g. functional experts) regarding the creation of UA assets
• Conduct language checks, copy-editing and quality checks for assets created by functional experts
• Design and maintain templates as well as standards & guidelines for Industry Cloud UA assets

Role Requirement

• UA developer (technical writer) with at least 3-7years of technical writing experience at a software product development company.
• Educational qualifications with Engineering majors, MCA from reputed institutes
• 3 -7 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Experience with MS Office , Visio, Powerpoint and Excel
• Experience in using DITA and content management systems, Basic understanding of HTML, DITA XML and DITA XMETAL.
• Experience in CRM applications/ERP applications
• Sense of responsibility to deliver committed assets in time and in quality
• Independent and self-managed working style and strong team-player
• The candidate should have thrived in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and Agile-based engineering environment.
• Demonstrated a strong command of the English grammar, a clear writing style and excellent content organization skills.
• Experienced in working with developers and representing documentation requirements during product design meetings.
