Job Description

  • He/she performs the Certification and Validation activities for part of the train delegated by the TVE during project execution
  • He/she writes the Train test procedures
  • He/she carries out type, validation or investigation tests, and preparing reports
  • He/she defines and implements the most appropriate testing methodology and means of testing
  • He/she develops test operating modes and analyses test results

  • Hierarchical: SCVM Site Certification & Validation Manager
  • Functional: Train Validation Engineer
Network & Links
  • Internal Interfaces: Train System Engineer, RAMS manager, Test Laboratory Manager, Test Engineers
  • External Interfaces: Engineering subcontractors, Test laboratories
Accountable for:
  • Executing tests and providing reports.
Responsible for:
  • Executing activities given by the Train Validation Engineer (TVE)
  • Updating the Validation Plan
  • Writing Train System test procedures
  • Ensuring the timely issuing of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidates Validation files
  • Providing structured REX to feed costing activities, and to enrich the CV metier technical repository
Knowledge & Experience
  • Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) : at least 2 years
  • Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools
  • Fluent in english
  • Required electrical habilitation level (french definitions):
  • B2V - B2V Essai - BE Essais - BR BC
  • H2V - H2V Essais - HE Essais HC
