Title: Verification Test Lead (EN-FR-02)Purpose of the Job: Manage the resources, in the broad sense, required by a Project to execute engineering activities of one of the Train Control and Information Solutions (TC&IS) Domain: sub-system, schematics & apparatus, software or verification & test. Support consistent development of competencies required for this domain, following the right methodologies and tools. Perform validation and verification activities on functions and TC&IS sub-system (TCMS SW, S&A, PACIS & SIG) on the project assigned Execute engineering activities of one of the Train Control and Information Solutions (TC&IS) Domain: Verification & test. Develop competencies required for this domain, following the right methodologies and tools. Ensure the application of the standard processes in the domain.Responsibilities Accountable for : Applying the standard processes and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure efficiency within projects development Defining, developing and sharing re-usable design patterns in the Team Promoting continuous improvement initiatives in the team Managing the traceability and configuration of tools used by the team Developing continuous improvement initiatives Working on the traceability and configuration of tools Supporting Tenders on technical and costing issues Supporting Projects on technical or process issues Responsible for : Assigning the resources (staff, tools etc) for executing Projects engineering work-packages of his/her Team Managing the workload, including the sub-contracted part (technical assistance or work-package) Contributing to the sub-contracting strategy in liaison with Sourcing Delivery of TC&IS verification & test procedures on the functions and sub-systems in the scope Defining the training plan appropriate to the team s needs and Alstom strategy Networking with other sites to share workload, Return on Experience and Technology topics Proposing to the Site TC&IS Manager the investments for HW & SW necessary to ensure the deliveries on projects conducted by the Site. Managing the Team by using regularly updated KPIs related to the Team Delivery of Verification & Tests tools to be used during Validation Campaign Setting-up the verification & test environment applying the appropriate configuration Performing TC&IS verification and tests on PC, test-benches and trains Delivery of TC&IS verification & test reports on the functions and sub-systems in scope Delivery of TC&IS coverage matrix on the functions and sub-systems in scope Configuration management of Verification & Test deliverables on the functions and sub-systems in scope - 100% deliverables properly managed into configuration database Management of validation status of change requests (CR) on the functions and sub-systems in scope - all CR status up-to-date in CR database (in line with test procedures and reports) Management of CR on the functions and sub-systems in the scope - All NOK results in test reports related to a CR Executing Project engineering work-packages of the Team Contributing to the sub-contracting strategy in liaise with Sourcing Initiating and following up action plans to solve issues common across projects and/or improve results in projects Sharing the Return on Experience of the activities with Central TC&IS Proposing improvements on the Team process and tools defined by Central TC&IS.Knowledge & Experience Experience in modelling, Verification and Validation automation tools like labview, teststand, RT-RT, Matlab etc. Experience in Hardware in loop testing, ATE and testbenches development Experience of hands-on activities of the Domain activities on multiple projects ( recomended at least 2 years in Railways or Automotive domain) like : Verification & test : test specification, hardware-software integration, Reviews, Input reviews, Setting up quality process for team, Automation activities. Familiarity with Domain modelling tools and Product Life Cycle management tools Fluent in English Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) (at least 2 years),Team size Direct reports : May manage from 3 to 5 persons based on project assigned Will be part of the Verification & Validation team of size 30Innovation On a yearly basis : Make proposals of R&D topics leading to improvements of performance of Engineering in term of Quality or Productivity Identify necessary investment (CAPEX) All along the year : Follow market innovations in the domain, develop and derive product R&D topics if usefulAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
