Job Description

The role is for Platform development within the Commercial Banking for Document Ingestion as Service for unstructured financial documents across all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO) Organization. The team will create a platform to offer services that will provide re-usable components and an end-to-end deployment environment to accelerate time-to-market, reduction of risk due to manual processing and better ROI for business teams.As a UI expert engineer the candidate will be will be leading the Design and Development of the Platform and would be based at Bangalore. He/she will also build common capabilities which will be delivered using Design Thinking as principle in an Agile and Test Driven manner. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions and have a profound influence on the business processes of a leading global bank.Responsibilities and Technical skills

  • Perform design, development of the UI components of the platform
  • Ensure web scale responsive design and implementation.
  • Understand product vision and business needs to define appropriate User Experience.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • 5+ Experience working with Single Page Application frameworks like Angular, React
  • 5+ years of hands-on JavaScript experience
  • 5+ years of HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
  • 5+ years experience with RESTful APIs and optimizing front end performance
  • Experience building reusable component based UI frameworks like Google material design
  • Experience with JavaScript unit testing
  • Strong user experience mindset and ability to work with Designers
  • Experience in analyzing and estimating business requirements
  • Experience working with microservices powered by Jetty, NGINX or Flask
  • Overall 10+ years of experience with Hands on coding skills and architecting scalable, highly responsive web based systems, who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
