Job Description

As WAM automation Lead you will be accountable & responsible to perform automation expediency, suggest automation approaches, build automation framework, automate manual test cases, maintain and execute regression tests ensuring all automation needs are properly met and aligned to the customer expectation. The role also demands expertise on various automation tools like Selenium, TestNG with Cucumber to conduct automation testing of web and mobile applications.Responsibilities:

• Capable to lead WAM automation testing projects independently by leveraging deep understanding of test planning, estimation, management, testing tools and approaches
• Develop automation testing strategy to drive automation needs of the projects.
• Implement functional testing automation tools knowledge in the project.
• Recommend tools based on the client automation needs
• Provide technical oversight, tools strategy/usage/adoption, ensuring technical quality of the solution
• Develop frameworks and processes that are leveraged or used by others using various automation tools like selenium, TestNG
• Ensure agreed scope of work is delivered on-time and meets quality standards also Identify potential risks/issues during the delivery and recommend appropriate mitigation/escalation path
• Help circulate best practices in the automation testing community and evolve testing strategies for new technology trends
• Communicate test decisions based on test results to stakeholders Test Estimation and Estimate automation testing efforts including add-ins for medium complexity
• Share best practices with the clients while discussing the scripting strategy and lessons learnt with the client and manage business-level client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.)

Mandatory Skills

• Sectorial experience in financial services / capital markets, with domain knowledge on different asset classes across front office , middle office and back office for either or both buy and sell side of business
• Good knowledge on portfolio management, trade execution, data control and operations and portfolio administration
• Techno functional knowledge of Core Wealth / Asset management with good exposure to at least one third party package like Aladdin, Multifonds, Charles River, FNZ, SEI or equivalent etc
• Should Posses high-level understanding of data model and application/business architecture around the package
• Good experience understanding client requirements and streamline them appropriately to the team.
• Understand high-level business requirements and relate them to appropriate package capabilities
• Define and validate customisation needs for package as per client requirements
• Define and validate integration / data requirements for package as per client requirements
• Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to the client to maximise benefits from package.
• Show in-depth knowledge on CFA concepts like portfolio management, wealth planning, Fixed income, Equity, Alternate investment, Derivatives etc
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellent client-facing skills
• MBA/MCA/ BE / B.Tech/ equivalent with FIS product experience of 12 + years

Other details/ requirements:

• BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc
• 2-4 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and varied domains.
• At least 2 years of experience in any of the automation tools is a must Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber framework
• Hands on experience in developing frameworks on selenium frameworks like TestNG, Junit, Cucumber
• Created QA Strategy and automation approach from scratch, Articulates value, ROI of automation to clients. Experience in conducting proof-of-concepts and Tool selection. Should have played the role of an individual contributor, interfacing with the clients and address their business needs
• Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
• Should be ready to do an individual contributor as well as Team Leader role
