Job Description

    This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
    • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
    • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
    • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
    • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
    • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
    • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
    • Passionate about building an innovative culture
    • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
    • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
    • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
    • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
    • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
    • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
    Technical expertise includes:
    • Strong commitment to technical quality assurance as a key part of the software development cycle.
    • 7+ years of experience using Java, BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Python/Perl for rule-focused testing
    • 7+ years of experience with Junit/TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, SQL, JSON, Wiremock
    • Experience in writing test automation frameworks for IBM ODM rule engine is a plus
    • Ability to mentor and upskill existing developers on QA to establish a strong rule-focused QA team
    • Establish QA best practices within the team
    • Willingness to work cross-functions and cross-teams.
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
    • Results-oriented, persistent, and meticulous.
    • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
    • Execution and Maintenance of Manual/Automation test scripts so that they are reused across multiple projects.
