Each squad works with a Product Owner and focuses on the delivery of the required business features.Current opening is for hands-on Java JEE developer position within Research Technology division which primarily serves the Research Business of Morgan Stanley. The team is focused on building cutting edge research platform for the business. As a senior manager, person s assignment could involve software delivery as Individual contributor and as lead when role demandsSkill Set:The job requires strong hands on Java skills. It is essential that you have clear core concepts of Core Java and you can read and write Java code efficiently.Knowledge of Java 15+ is essential. The job requires developing applications and APIs that are written in Java and use spring framework. Hands on development is part of the job, Other than guiding team members.You will be required to do Code reviews for your team and ensure Automation Testing is done as part of software development.You are clear on SOLID principles for software design.You are familiar with certain Design Patterns and able to use them during software development.You are adept at preparing clear architecture or design diagrams to communicate what you are developing.Clear communication skills. Job requires working with Senior Technical managers and Production Owners from Business Unit.You can regularly do required trainings and explore new technology., * Mandatory
    • Object Oriented design concepts

    • Ability to design application modules / java class design
    • Crystal clear Core Java concepts types of classes, class loading, collections, writing code in multi-threading env
    • Java web services - REST
    • Hands-on skills on Spring framework (DI & AOP), Springboot
    • Good communication skills

    • Proficient in Git CLI
    • XML knowledge of parsing, namespaces, jaxb etc will advantageous.
    • SOAP services
