Job Description

-

  • Strong grasp of visual communication principles including design, illustration, color theory, and typography.
  • Solid understanding of web usability and latest technology.
  • Proficient use of web design software such as Dreamweaver.
  • Proficien cy with Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Firework.
  • Ability to fully code in XHTML/CSS and HTML5/CSS3 using W3C Standards.
  • Familiarity using JavaScript.
  • Proficient web production skills (image optimization, cropping, and slicing).
  • Knowledge of Responsive Design is a plus.
Other Skills:
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies/skills and comfortably apply the learning to the problem at hand.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines with solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to shift priorities quickly within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong conceptual thinking with great attention to detail.
  • Communication skills - comfortable explaining design & implementation choices to stakeholders.
  • Team player who enjoys working on cross-functional and culturally diverse teams and has the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Respons ibilities:
  • Create artwork/creative concepts for new clients.
  • Supporting existing clients with web design tasks as needed.
  • Build/update/c ustomize HTML newsletters and other e-communications.
  • Mana ge projects for internal/external clients, providing updates and timelines for completion.
  • Coordinate work with Web Development team to provide XHTML/CSS pages, web tools, graphics, banners, etc.
  • Keep up with the most current web design trends and standards.
