WINTEL SME/L3ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Should be competent to understand the technical implications of import & export of systems in various migration scenarios.2. Should have the understanding of high level application architectures to assess and plan the requirements for new application deployments.3. Should have experience in enterprise migrations between various environments in terms of OS and platforms.4. Should have hands-on experience on the deploying and migrating systems on various hypervisors environments and Cloud platforms.5. Work with application partners and infrastructure peers, participating in all aspects of the change process including: execution, workflow management, escalation, and planning.6. Change execution during weekend shift which is where the highest volume of complex and time sensitive production change is executed.7. Perform changes related to DR, Data center moves, Capacity management etc on Wintel platforms. The changes will include working on Disaster Resiliency events, Major Power Downs, Data Center moves etc. Working experience of Distributed servers, operating system is essential. The environment consists of a combination of physical and virtual servers across all disciplines with an emphasis towards virtualization.8. Install, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, Administrator and upgrade Microsoft Windows Server operating systems with all required server roles on assigned servers.9. Investigate, debug and solve windows Operating System related issues.10. Analyze and update the platforms where needed to keep them secure and compliant with any relevant security standards11. Automate tasks where appropriate with according scripts (PowerShell, Batch script)12. Operations, Capacity Planning, Communications wherever required13. Knowledge of Windows 2016, 2019, 2022 and associated platform(s) and/ or tools14. Install, Configuring and Managing Virtualization (VMware and Hyper V) AD / DHCP / DNS Services.15. Service Request/Change process, Assignment, adherence, data quality, client updates and metrics and Change Assignments16. Review and Assign all ITSM (Service now) task assigned to your group within agreed SLA / OLA17. Creating Group Policies and implementation as per standard procedures.18. Perform Security Health Check of Windows servers and other compliance.19. Track and drive patch management & software upgrades to ensure continuous supportability.20. Support to raising & implementing including the Patch management CRs in the Wintel infrastructure.21. Coordinating with different lines of services with SLA.22. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to help develop less experienced engineers.23. Management investigation of customer complaints24. Responsible for preparing RCA document25. Strong Collaboration and Co- ordination skills26. Self- starter, Proactive and can work with minimal supervision27. Focused and Goal Oriented28. Strong Communication Skills29. Proficiency in English essential (written and spoken)30. Takes Ownership and AccountabilityQUALIFICATIONSThe qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.KNOWLEDGEApply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.Full Knowledge in all of the following environments to administer, optimize, and design.Technical Expertise Data Center Solutions Stack (Compute, VMware, Windows OS, AD, DNS, Compliance, Virtual Networking, Storage, DRS, HA, Memory Management techniques, Basic Networking/Switching/Routing Concepts, Disks, Clustering)Hardware Expertise : Cisco UCS & Flex pod, HP & Dell stackTechnical Knowledge/Skills: 8-10 years in Infrastructure operations & implementations.Knowledge of ITIL a plus Performance Skills/Individual Competencies: Solid planning and organizing skills with an attention to detailGeneral knowledge in all of the following areas to help coordinate cross group projects.Project Management skillsPreferably including multiple disciplines (e.g. infrastructure, operations)Designing infrastructure solutions encompassing multiple technology domains.Implementing custom developed applications, commercial off- the shelf software and middleware productsIf interested in the above mentioned job opening email your resume to hidden_email
