Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.
    • Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements.
    • Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance.
    • Integrate and configure WordPress plugins as needed.
    • Develop custom WordPress pages to enhance website functionality.
    • Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
    • Create and design custom icons (SVG & PNG) for websites.
    • Utilize Photoshop for image editing, website mock-ups, and visual enhancements.
    • Ensure content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines.
    • Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats.
    • Optimize website performance, including speed and load times.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.
    • Perform regular website backups and updates.
    • Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless website development and functionality.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience: 1-3 years as a WordPress Web Designer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
    • Strong knowledge of Photoshop for website and graphic design.
    • Experience in creating custom icons (SVG & PNG) for websites.
    • Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility.
    • Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in web development and WordPress.
    • A bachelors degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is preferred but not required.
    • Relevant work experience and a strong portfolio are often considered more important.
