1) Job PurposeProject and Construction Management of Civil, Structural including land and land development, roads and drainages railway linkage and siding and any other work of similar nature for the upcoming 1.2 MTPA integrated steel project from initiation to closing processes.2) Principal AccountabilitiesAccountability Supporting ActionsProject Initiation & PlanningProject Initiation activities followed by detailed planning of all relevant knowledge areasPreparation of scope, schedule, cost, quality and manpower management plan.Preparation of Risk and stakeholder management planCo-ordinate and take assistance from PMO with respect to planning processes, project management processes, forms, templates, tools and techniques.Direct and Manage projectDirect and manage project execution in the the relevant domainExecute activities in all knowledge areas of project management from scoping through commissioning and closure.Interaction with all relevant stakeholders like consultants, OEMs, contractors, relevant Govt.authorities, PMO for all phases of projectManage quality of all deliverables through appropriate quality assurance programEnsure construction safety with strict adherence to safety rules with a 0 accident approach.Monitor and Control ProjectMonitor and control all project activities to ensure adherence to scope, cost and time baselines Daily, weekly and monthly reviews with team and various stakeholders internal and externalProgress reporting as per project management plan / communication management planConstruction quality assurance, quality audits and inspection overviewContinuous tracking of strict adherence to safety rulesContinuous risk identification, monitoring and responseTeam BuildingTo source matching profiles and ensure availability of manpower as per approved manpower budget.Build required team as approved by management Train and condition them to required level for efficient discharge of duties.Arrange and coordinate with HR for necessary training and quality improvement for the team membersAssist Procurement and manage contractsAssist procurement with engineering and planning support and required technical documentation, inspection etc.Manage contracts and contractor performance Preparation of technical tender documentPreparation of ordering specificationTechnical clarification and finalization of bids and providing technical recommendationsClose monitoring of civil and structural construction progress including fabrication and erectionEngineering and construction coordination for railway linkage and siding including NH underpass etcManage contracts efficiently for desired performance by the contractor with minimal issues and claims.Adaptation to available ERP/ manual systems/ softwareAdapt to Organizational process assets like communication protocols, reporting and review systems, ERP, software like Primavera , SAP etc.Essentially adapt to various organizational process assets like communication methods, ERP in use, any other project management software, other organizational processes et.Implement review and reporting systems as per project Communication Management planTeam managementTo manage the team to ensure efficient disposal of tasks and motivated teamAdherence to PMS prevalent in the company for team and selfDay to day administrationTraining and quality improvement of team membersImplementation of appropriate reward and recognition processConflict and issue managementCommunication management
