Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONRole Proficiency:Learn the technology thoroughly and start developing applications (of low effort and complexity) in assigned area of responsibility on ERP/CRM system under regular supervision of a senior developerOutcomes:

  1. Acts under continuous guidance and support to develop test and document applications.
  2. Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with user stories/ specifications as per directions provided
  3. Code debug test document and communicate product/component/feature development stages.
  4. Adhere to project timelines andcommunicate effectively over e-mails and conversations
  5. Listen and learn how to effectively interact with customers.
  6. Learn technology business domain system domain.
Measures of Outcomes:
  1. Completion of applicable technical/domain certifications
  2. Adherence to coding standards set by ERP/CRM Practice.
  3. Set goals in NorthStar timely measure the progress and update accordingly.
  4. Follow up with reporting manager to complete feedback check-in process before due date.
  5. Completion of all mandatory training requirements (technology/industry specific trainings UST mandatory trainings)
  6. Good performance rating for the trainings attended (if applicable).
  7. Reduction of reoccurrence of known defects
  8. Quick turnaround of bugs
  9. Adherence to schedule and timelines
  10. Adhere to SLAs where applicable (if support)
Outputs Expected:Requirement:
  1. Understand the requirements/user stories
Design:
  1. Understand the design/LLD and link it to requirements/user stories
Configuration and Coding:
  1. Learn coding standards and implement in development. Develop code with minimal guidance. Implement review comments and try to minimize the number of review comments given by lead after code review.
Test:
  1. Create and conduct unit testing.
  2. Test class coverage above 80%.
Manage Defects:
  1. Raise fix retest defects and document root cause analysis.
Document:
  1. Create documentation for ones own work
Status Reporting:
  1. Report status of tasks assigned
  2. Comply with project related reporting standards and process
Manage knowledge:
  1. Consume and contribute project related documents share point libraries client universities
Release:
  1. Adhere to release management process
Domain relevance:
  1. Develop feature / component with good understanding of the business problem being addressed for the client.
Skill Examples:
  1. A proactive team player
  2. Good written and verbal communication abilities
  3. Ability to debug and do RCA for any defects reported by testing team.
  4. Perform and evaluate test results against product specifications
  5. Develop user interfaces and business software components
  6. A quick learner who can adapt to learning new technologies relevant to ERP/CRM.
  7. Experience in researching system/performance issues
  8. Ability to prepare test data and steps for unit integration and production testingas per project needs.
Knowledge Examples:
  • Learn various ERP/CRM cloud platform features and automations.
    1. Knowledge of coding best practices and understanding the limitations of coding.
    2. Experience using data loading tools.
    3. Knowledge on staging deployment and solving deployment errors.
    4. Knowledge of Agile Methods - Scrum and Kanban
    Additional Comments:JD for Ariba SCC ATOS Certified: Skills required for Ariba SCC Atos Certified: 1. Good Knowledge in SAP Product and Supply Chain. 2. Good Understanding in SAP MM and its process flows 3. Good Training knowledge in Purchase Order Collaboration, Consignment and Invoicing, Subcontracting and Multi-tier, Supplier Managed Inventory, Quality Collaboration, SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration Overview, Forecast Collaboration, Forecast Collaboration, Returns 4. Strong problem-solving skill. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing and interpersonal 5. Candidate must have a Global SAP Certification. 6. Candidate should have completed his/her training in Atos 7. Candidate should be an immediate joiner. 8. Should be a graduate in any of the streams like B.Tech/MBA/MCA 9. Should be a pass out in the year 2020/2021/2022.
