Job Description

In this role you will be reporting to FP&A CoE Hub Business Area Lead and will be responsible for providing financial planning and controlling. Providing expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance.Your responsibilities

  • Performing analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast along with benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers. Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with group and unit requirements
  • Performing closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business or functions. Preparing and analyzing product or customer profitability
  • Preparing allocation cycles and calculation of labor hour rates and overhead absorption rates for different business scenarios. Analyzing ad-hoc reports as per divisions or functions request
  • Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning and forecasting. Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
  • Participating in business process, project and functions review, assisting in target setting, strategic planning and analyzing performance of portfolio for various segments. Presenting financial dashboards for business review
  • Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements
  • Providing training to FP&A Analysts and onboarding of new employees. Supporting forex valuations, hedging, audits & Group on special projects
Your background
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in a Finance or Accounting. A CMA/CA degree is preferred
  • Minimum 6 to 9 years of experience in SAP FICO and COPA modules
  • Skills in FPNA, controlling, budgeting
  • Good knowledge of Sales & Distribution, production planning, projects and material master modules in SAP
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
