Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONRole Proficiency:Manage an industry vertical of business along with business leadership. and manager Manage the Business Finance Team at the cluster level.Outcomes:

  1. Supervise the Managers
  2. Provide effective financial controls for the BUs and ensure compliance with corporate processes and procedures
  3. Mentor team members on the standard operating procedures and provide guidance
  4. Recognize and maintain confidential information
  5. Financial reporting
  6. Financial accounting
  7. Financial planning analysis and accounting policy
  8. Budget and forecasting processes
  9. Supporting review implementation and execution of compliance matters / internal controls activities
  10. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities for performance enhancement
  11. Preparation of the Group and subsidiary consolidation and annual statutory accounts
  12. Review journals prepared by the Financial Accountant and Accounts Assistant
  13. Review balance sheet reconciliations
  14. Review consolidation and deliver consolidated financial results to FP&A
Measures of Outcomes:
  1. Revenue realized for the assigned Account/Vertical
  2. Profitability
  3. Feedback from Account/Vertical leaders
  4. Team Engagement - Attrition/ESAT scores
Outputs Expected:Financial Planning:
  1. Manage revenue portfolio of at least $ 200M with the desired EBITDA contribution to the organization
  2. Direct the preparation review and distribution of monthly financial analysis to Business Units (BUs) for effective decision making including variance analysis
  3. Financial advisor for the BUs working closely with BU management on budget planning and forecasting
  4. Maintain sound relationship with the BUs/management/stakeholders/customers by conducting regular meetings and calls
  5. Direct the creation of financial models of the new/existing deals for strategic engagements
  6. Build analytical models to perform financial analyses of complex business problems
  7. Responsible for quality control - management reporting and review of the balance sheet
  8. Development of accounting policies and procedures
  9. Review and preparation of group financial reporting analysis to the audit committee
Business Support and Team Management:
  1. Pro-actively alert the business on possible business performance impacts to help mitigate the financial risks
  2. Mentor team members on the standard operating procedures and provide guidance
  3. Work to develop a culture of performance management improvement and appraisal as a foundation for excellent organisational performance
  4. Attend meetings and committees as required
  5. Technical accounting support for the businesses
  6. Training of staff
  7. Ad hoc requests by senior management and commercial finance teams
  8. Ad hoc projects - IT system upgrade
