Job Description

In this role you will be reporting to Manufacturing Unit Manager and will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand and specifications, quality and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, production processes quantity, quality budgeted costs and proper productivity level.Your responsibilities

  • Preparing annual production budget and overseeing progress and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget, resourcing and developing programs, projects goals and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout operations
  • Collaborating with operational excellence teams to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes and operations improvement
  • Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs and increasing revenues and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates
  • Ensuring that 4Q program the standard ABB process improvement methodology training and methods are implemented into the organization and QMS and HSE audit coordination and maintaining various production records and inventory monitoring and control
  • Coordinating with all internal stake holders including customers for stagging of cabinets for internal and external factory acceptance test and well versed with SAP activities related to production and operations
  • Overseeing the creation of manufacturing subcontracts and managing the subcontractor jointly with other involved disciplines including supply chain management
  • Ensuring compliance with group health safety, environmental directives and that regulations are implemented while monitoring and reporting progress, results and guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies
  • Ensuring with HR manager support that the area of responsibility is properly organized and staffed skilled and directed
Your background
  • B.E or B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic engineering from a reputed university
  • Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in end-to-end production planning, SAP MM system, vendor and supplier management
  • Experience in electrical, panel, cabinet wiring and cabinet building from a automation production industry background
  • Experience in inventory controlling, reporting skills, analyzing information, equipment maintenance and dispatch
