Job Description

In this role you will be reporting to R&D Department Lead and will be responsible to work with the teams which are developing and validating shippable products for the India and global markets. Embedded development for our embedded gateway and control solution.Your responsibilities

  • Collaborating with global/ local R&D and product management teams to develop world class products
  • Demonstrating solid competency in embedded C++/C programming and design concepts
  • Strong collaboration within R&D community and alignment with agile software development principles
  • Demonstrating strong commitment to quality culture in ABB R&D
  • Mindset to take risk, share success and failures in the team
  • Mindset towards innovative thinking and challenging the current situations

Your background
  • Bachelors or masters degree in electronics, computer science engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in embedded SW programming on C++
  • Must have strong experience in Embedded Linux application layer development, High performance embedded
  • Expertise in C++, C++17, Python, Message broker (MQTTZero MQ), Yocto, OPC/UA, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Knowledge of Embedded System Integration, System verification and continuous integration
  • Experience in working in Agile teams and strong understanding of agile ways of working
