Job Description

Greetings.!We , Sarthee Consultancy , are having opening for Mechanical Project Engineer with our client in Chemical Industry.Please find below details :Company :Leading name in manufacturing of different types of chemicalsDesignation :Mechanical Project EngineerLocation :BharuchJob Requirements :BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical) Should have proficiency in PV elite and Tank software with min. 4 years of experience from chemical industry.Purpose Statement :To draft, design and implement all engineering drawings related to mechanical tools and equipments layout w.r.t new projects and plant set up and work in close relation with core projects team for timely erection,commissioning and operationskey Responsibilities :

  • Review and confirm code basis for each project Collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
  • Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API and other applicable codes.
  • erform calculations & mechanical design for pressure vessels,column, Heat exchangers,Tanks and code analysis using multiple codes and standards and accordingly prepare Mechanical Data Sheet (MDS).
  • Provide technical support to external design resources (Consultant), equipment vendors, and fabricators.
  • Travel to fabrication shops for meetings, inspections and functional tests (if required).
  • Provide direction to fabricators and inspectors with applicable assistance (if required).
  • Review and approve fabricator and external (Consultant) design / drawings, documentation and fabrication sequence .Provide leadership and develop innovative approaches and solutions.
  • Develop innovative and cost effective solutions in designing process related equipment.
  • Provide project scoping input to ensure estimate accuracy and appropriate materials and methods are utilized in an efficient design.
  • Provide proposal support by reviewing specifications and requirements and providing expertise in setting strategy for product offerings
