Job Description

    Job DescriptionProcess Engineer ProjectKey Responsibility AreasManaging the batch processing Operation.Trouble shooting and utility load calculationTo Manage Batch planning, yield improvement.Documentation work with cGMP.Operating cost and overhead cost calculation.Design basis report & process description preparation and review.Preparation of design safety plan, process safety plan, HAC layout, source list, Hazop study, HAZID study, HSC plan, ERP, sustainability, environment management plan and waste management plan.Relevant exposure to preparation of process flow diagram, equipment mapping at plant.Preparation of SOP & HIRA (Hazardous Identification and Risk Assessment) documents.Participating in HAZOP Meeting with operation , project , mechanical and environment dept. etc.Preparation of basic engineering package.ETP, RO, MEE, Utility and fraction distillation columns on AUTO CAD Software.Mechanical Work :-Commissioning of reactors, dryers, Centrifuges, ANFDs, and its accessories like Trap , Vacuum pump , Hot water tanks , solvent tanks, receivers and its piping.Civil Work :- Modification in plant , API PDL new area commissioning with API project team guidanceOther Work :-Prepare qualification documents of equipments as per GMP norms, Safety coordination during project activity, Project storeCoordination with R&D EHS and Engineering department for PSM (Process Safety Management) related activitiesEquipment fabrication & development drawing.Coordination with production, process engineering & other department for new modification drawings.Assist in preventive and breakdown Maintenance activities and documentation of Raw Water plant and DM water plant.Preparation of isometric drawing of piping and loops.Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new proceduresUtilizes process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategiesProvides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.To collecting data required to make improvements and modifications.Using and developing process simulation software to work out the best production method.Investigating and troubleshooting plant/process problems.Ensuring that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities.Assuring safety and environmental issues.Liaising with installation/project engineers and specialists.Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation.Knowledge of process engineering software systems.Conducts risk assessments.Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflowsOverseeing the constructions of new plants.To purchasing and installing equipments.To using scientific principles related to magnitude, momentum , Heat Transfer Etc.Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data.Guide team in carrying out design calculations and preparation of engineering documents/drawing.Ensure the quality of process engineering documents to make BEP.Finalize the documents for design and operation HAZOP.Educational Qualification: B.E. (Chemical)
