Developer Manager, reCAPTCHA Product ExperienceLocation: Montreal, QC, CanadaMinimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C , Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience building compelling and simple user interfaces.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with leveraging machine learning and AI models or Generative AI.

• Deliver business impact for Google by setting, communicating, and achieving team priorities that support organizational goals. Align with partners and make key decisions as needed to achieve team objectives.
• Set clear expectations for each Googler aligned to role, level, and organizational goals. Meet regularly to give feedback and provide coaching to help Googlers deliver results.
• Work closely with other leads to define quarterly/yearly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that drive the teams strategic priorities and deliver high-quality capabilities. Recognize achievements and hold team members accountable when expectations are not met.
• Create team norms that enable support, respect, connection, collaboration, and open communication so that everyone can contribute their best work.
