Job Description

  • Hands-on experience with various Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, join, Partition by key, Multi reformat, Gather, Merge, Lookup, Multi Table update etc.
  • Should have strong technical experience in Support and Development (Coding, Unit testing) using Ab Initio.
  • Good knowledge in developing UNIX scripts, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.
  • Must have the ability to relate to both business and technical members of the team and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Should be able to provide oversight and technical guidance for developers on Ab Initio.
  • Handled the performance tuning of Ab initio Graphs.
  • Involved in migration of several Ab initio projects.
  • Involved in creation of parameter sets to fit in the graphs from old version of Ab initio to newer version of Ab initio.
  • Responsible for code migration, Code review, test plans, test scenarios, test cases as part of Unit/Integrations testing.
  • Experience in supporting integration testing and regression testing.
  • Automated the Production jobs using Ab initio graphs, CA7 scheduler and UNIX.
  • Experience in leading a small team and also provided training on Ab initio to new members in the team.
