Job Title : Accounting Analyst Job Location : ChennaiFC Controls is a key monitoring function in Financial Control. The team is responsible for adoption and execution of FC global policies and practices in the region. The team is also responsible for ongoing monitoring and tracking of Key performance indicators and providing management with relevant dashboards in this regardWhat will you be doing The key responsibilities of the role includesPreparation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet analysisPreparation of monthly recoverability analysis for service entityPreparation of monthly FX exposure analysisPreparation of monthly Inform substantiationProcessing of various month-end journalsPreparation of monthly tax computationCompiling dashboard and tracking the progress on Statutory Financials and audit for various entities in the regionSupport Balance Sheet Control in global control initiativesWhat we re looking for:o Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCAo Strong academic background 1st /2nd class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institutiono Relevant years post qualification experienceo Experience in a month-end or quarter-end focused reporting roleo Knowledge and understanding of the key accounting principles under IFRSo Strong excel skillso Previous experience with having used either SAP or Hyperiono Good analysis and problem solving skillso Strong control awareness.o Good stakeholder engagement skills and understanding & executing their requirements / expectationsSkills that will help you in the role:o Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro-active and a team playero Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicatoro Willingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolutiono Eye for detail and exception track record in managing and resolving conflict situationso Assertiveness, tenacious and control focusedo Expected to take accountability/responsibility of deliverableso Answerable to questions and able to substantiate data when required by client-facerso Required to provide detailed analysis and information on complex queries/problems and communicate to stakeholders on proposed solutions and recommendationso Able to perform good analysis, resolve problems and initiate workable innovative recommendations and solutions to take the function forward to achieve better performance efficiencies.
