Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Senior Supply Planner at Comcast, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels and availability, overseeing product lifecycle management, and contributing to strategic supply chain planning. Your role will involve engaging with market teams, monitoring supplier performance, and working with key stakeholders to drive efficiency and inventory optimization.Key Responsibilities:- Manage inventory levels and availability to ensure optimal stock control.- Oversee product lifecycle management, including launch, maintenance, and end-of-life processes.- Prepare input for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning supply forecasts with business requirements.- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure efficient supply chain operations.- Engage with market teams to provide supply chain insights and improvements.- Assist in developing strategic business plans for the supply chain planning function.- Work extensively with system data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.- Support master data management policies to ensure data consistency and accuracy.- Coordinate with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to develop reports and interfaces for planning applications.Qualifications Required:- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.- Experience with S&OP/IBP process management.- APICS or equivalent Supply Chain qualification.- Familiarity with planning systems such as Anaplan or similar tools.- Bachelors Degree preferred; relevant work experience of 5-7 years.- Applicants with a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience will also be considered.Additional Details:Comcast is a Fortune 50 company leading the way in media and technology, offering career opportunities across various locations and disciplines.
