Job Description

As a Senior Supply Planner at Comcast, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and availability, overseeing product lifecycle management, and contributing to strategic supply chain planning. Your responsibilities will include:- Manage inventory levels and availability to ensure optimal stock control.- Oversee product lifecycle management, including launch, maintenance, and end-of-life processes.- Prepare input for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning supply forecasts with business requirements.- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure efficient supply chain operations.- Engage with market teams (IT/DE) to provide supply chain insights and drive improvements.- Assist in developing strategic business plans for the supply chain planning function.- Prepare, communicate, and monitor production and capacity plans for both forward and reverse logistics.- Utilize system data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.- Support master data management policies to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and control.- Coordinate with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to develop reports and dashboards for planning applications.In addition to the technical skills required for this role, you are expected to:- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail.- Possess influencing skills to engage senior managers in executive reporting.- Hold an APICS or equivalent Supply Chain qualification.- Have experience with S&OP/IBP process management.- Be familiar with planning systems such as Anaplan or similar tools.Furthermore, as an employee at Comcast, you are expected to:- Understand and apply the companys Operating Principles in daily tasks.- Prioritize seamless digital options and proactive support to enhance the customer experience.- Continuously learn, use, and advocate for the companys technology, products, and services.- Work collaboratively, embrace new ideas, and promote teamwork.- Participate in the Net Promoter System and identify opportunities for improvement.- Drive results and contribute to company growth.- Respect and promote inclusion and diversity.- Act with integrity in all interactions with colleagues, customers, investors, and communities.The successful candidate for this role will have a Bachelors Degree.
