• Peoplesoft administration skills should include
  • Strong Oracle Performance tuning exposure
  • Linux script
  • Linux administration concepts (file system management etc etc)
  • Oracle backup and recovery skills (RMAN, exp/imp etc etc)
  • Working knowledge in Enterprise infrastructure skills (SAN/networks etc etc)
  • Peoplesoft auxiliary tool knowledge like datastage administration (applicable to EPM)
  • Very strongly knowledge in trouble shooting environment and performance related issues.
  • Advice developers on SQL query tuning
  • Sound knowledge on production environments (do s and don ts) including change and release management process
  • Expert in Oracle database administration (Oracle 12C)
  • Maintaining Incident ticket/ Problem management and active participation in root cause analysis
  • Should be engaged in Application installation and maintenance documentation procedures including
    • Disaster recovery
    • Backup and recovery (strategy and methodology)
    • Application service startup and shutdown procedures
• As a secondary skill sets,
  • Working knowledge in Finance suite of PS applications including GL and SCM modules like (AP/AM, eProc etc)
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in using PS version/migration tools like Quest STAT
  • Expert in Unix shell scripting
  • Basic unix / windows admin skills (RHEL)
• Non-Peoplesoft administration skills should include
