GMOT - Collateral consists a suite of applications for margin management of collateral for OTC derivatives, REPOs, Futures and FIFs including margin calculation, issuance of margin calls, trade level reconciliations, dispute resolution, inventory management and reporting. Collateral technology supports the business process of pledging collateral between counterparties in various ways. Pledging cash and securities as collateral to secure performance of financial contracts is among the principal ways that parties to such contracts manage their risks. The India team engages with the LOB counterparts contributing towards strategic and BAU project deliverables

Job Description

GCDB (Global Collateral Database) is a mainframe COBOL data processing application and DB2 database. GCDB consolidates global collateral balances financing trades from numerous books and records and maintains actual and projected collateral balances. GCDB provides a single source for visibility to the firm and customer s collateral in order to improve day-to-day funding efficiency, provide automated tri-party financing and manage client margin and collateral risk.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a high level of analytical and creative skills Participate and provide suggestions in technical design discussions Interact with Business Partners and come up with solutions Responsible for functional delivery of assigned applications Designs, develops, enhance, debugs, supports, maintain and tests applications that support business units or supporting functions. Be a seasoned and proficient technical resource Flexibility in adapting to team requirements Ensuring adherence to development standards, best practices Ensuring high quality levels in all deliverables Participate and contribute to TeamProject Reviews Learn new technologies when directed as future development may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools Effectively convey message in both written and verbal development discussions Adhere to team s governing principles and policies Participate in mandatory training and cross functions across team Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge Requirements Education : BE B. Tech M. Tech MCA Certifications If Any Experience Range : 4 - 6 years of relevant experience Mandatory skills : Strong knowledge in mainframe technology Very good experience in COBOL, JCL and CICS Strong DB2 knowledge and understanding of databases Good Analytical, Debugging and design skills Must be a self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired skills Good to have exposure on Endevor, MQ, VSAM, OPCA scheduler, File Manager etc.,
