Job Description

    As an Alerts Manager at Societe Generale, your main mission is to handle all the alerts generated by the Filtering platform within the sanctions/embargos framework to contribute to the financial safety of SG Group. You will also participate in the analysis and operational translation of Group Compliance filtering instructions, evolution projects, and quality controls.Your main responsibilities will include:- Analyzing the relevance of alerts generated in real-time transactions screening and escalating relevant cases to Level 2 compliance.- Performing L1 analysis on alerts generated by third-party databases filtering against S/E lists, including researching companies, entities, and individuals using available resources and web platforms.After a training period of 6 to 9 months, additional missions may include:- Actively participating in the analysis of the filtering guideline established by the Group Compliance department and communicating with OFAC-AMER on ambiguous cases.- Translating guidelines into concrete actions for alert processing, presenting a synthetic vision to the management team, and participating in Filtering platform evolution projects.Skills required for this role:- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take on challenging tasks.- Capacity for in-depth analysis on transactions.- Good communication skills to interact with US counterparts.- Willingness to learn and upskill.- Ability to support across all shifts from Asian to US markets.- Strong written and oral communication skills for detailed report writing.- Basic computer skills, preferably knowledge of Excel.- Knowledge of SWIFT and FEDWIRE are advantageous.Join Societe Generale if you want to be part of a team that believes in creating, daring, innovating, and taking action for a positive impact on the future.
