Job Description

The role is part of HR Technology & Change function, supporting the development of Web Services and move towards RESTful APIs and micro-services.This role will focus on the design, development and support of a new HR Data Hub platform and in particular the API layer. Role will require excellent working knowledge of Java, RAML, Mulesoft, Akana and extensive experience in API security, performance, orchestration usage/consumption tracking and alerting.This will be delivered as part of either the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in the near future and longer term using the Lean Control Process (LPC) as HR Tech and change projects move to agile.Typical activities cover working closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Data Hub Developers and Business Analysts to take requirements through to technical design and coding. The role also ensures the test activity is in line with the functional and business requirements, working closely with the different HR Technology teams.What will you be doing experience in developing enterprise applications using J2EE .Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods. Last should be in leading Angular JS design and development.Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods & relevant work experience as a Java full stack developerLast 5 year should be in Angular JS design and development. Strong proficiency in designing and developing user interface using HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Bootstrap and Angular JS or other JS frameworksStrong experience in multi-tier architecture involving Java and Angular JS frameworks.Good work experience in UI testing tools like Protractor, Karma & Jasmine, etc.Proficiency at developing Web Service to support both pull APIs, Publish/Subscribe APIs and flat file (.csv) generation.Expert at designing modular, scalable, robust code and ability to communicate approach to dev team.ssKnowledge of best practices when designing atomic system CRUD APIsStrong proficiency with designing and coding RESTful APIs, Java, RAML, Mulesoft, Akana and extensive experience in API security, performance, orchestration usage/consumption tracking and alertingDelivery management experience with proven track record of managing large business and technical deliveries, ideally within the financial services sector with understanding of regulatory demands.Must be able to demonstrate senior stakeholder management, communication and presentation skillsDemonstrable record of managing large engineering team effectively, and delivering within budgetary constraintsSelf-motivated individual, willing to take / support key decisions to ensure projects are delivered successfullyStrong proficiency with designing and coding RESTful APIs, Java, RAML, Mulesoft, Akana and extensive experience in API security, performance, orchestration usage/consumption tracking and alertingProficiency in best practices for API Security (Authentication/Threat protection), Performance (Cashing/Load Distribution/Response Paging), Orchestration (Correlation of API calls/Process design), Alerting (Policy Breach/Certificate Renewal Notification), Usage (Service Auditing/Usage metrics) and SLAsWhat we re looking for:Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specificationsCapable of troubleshooting common API issuesFamiliar with tools that can aid with profiling API resource usage and optimizing itProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}Skills that will help you in the role:The successful candidate will be educated to first degree level or equivalent in an engineering or computer science discipline.Experience of the following technologies will be beneficial:o Web Services, RESTful APIs, RAMLo Javao Mulesoft
