Job Description

    Responsibilities: n n1. Hands on experience in administration of Appdynamics controllers 4.5 and above n2. Build deep technical expertise on AppD product and application stacks and use those skills to address business and technical issues as needed n3. Help business teams setup policies alerts, dashboards and custom configuration to get full visibility into their entire environment n4. Train users on best practices and AppDynamics features to proactively monitor performance in their environment as well as use the product to identify bottlenecks as needed n5. Monitor and manage AppDynamics controller performance, availability and capacity effectively n6. Strong Knowledge on AppDynamics components (Event Service, EUM, DB Agent & Enterprise Console) n7. Support, maintain, and expand AppDynamics infrastructure to meet future architecture design and deployment requirements n8. Work closely with infrastructure, Application, Development and project teams to onboard application into AppDynamics n9. Configure AppDynamics to monitor applications n10. Setup and analyze AppDynamics analytical data to predict future performance based on historical trends n11. Perform analysis on logs and use problem solving techniques n12. Build / maintain AppDynamics dashboards n13. Configure Health Rules n14. Perform upgrades on controller, Events Service, EUM & DB Agents n15. Complete user request tickets on AppDynamics Administration, Customizations, and Maintenance & Extract reports n nSkills: n n1. Experience with any scripting languages and automate tasks and manipulate data. SQL Experience a plus n2. Strong technical, analytic and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems n3. Proven proficiency with AppDynamics monitoring of large-scale applications n4. Intermediate to Advance knowledge on Linux Operating System n5. Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines n6. Strong interpersonal and communications skills As a Lead Administrator, you should be able to act as a Single point of contact for the technical tower in front of the customer management. Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager. Responsible for Vendor Management and people management. Drives day to day operations and work plan allocation/management. Conduct periodic reviews with teams. Weekly and monthly status reports to higher management. Participate in business meetings with various stake holders. Take corrective actions based on the customer satisfaction surveys. Drive service improvement programs. Ensure adherence to quality / security standards defined for the engagement Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents. Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects. ,
