Job Description

    Application EngineerExperience : Fresher ( or ) 1 - 2 Years ExperienceLocation : ChennaiPlease find below JD for your referenceAbout Company :We offer economical measurement solutions to industries for their demanding measurement needs in the real-time conditions by a highly professional team having over a decades of vast in-depth knowledge about the industry needs.We offer Transducers & Sensors for both Static & Dynamic measurement based on Strain Gauge, Piezo-electric, Non-contact Laser, Eddy-current, Capacitive, Inductive, IR type sensors etc.LabVIEW software development knowledge in online acquisition and measurement with PC based Data Acquisition system, National Instruments hardware (NI DAQ). Excellent technical knowledge on Data Acquisition System, PLCs. Possess basic technical knowledge of transducers / sensors based on contact and non-contact type measurements. Good knowledge on Instrument panel wiring concepts, integration of different sensors, actuators with the Data Acquisition System. Adaptable and a quick learner with skills to work under pressure Possesses strong communication & analytical skills Strong time management and organizational skillsResponsibilities and Duties Ability to work both as individual and as team. On-site support for field measurements & installation of test rigs. The role of the application engineer will have to provide support on Test & Measurement field. Prepare of Instrument Installation detail/ Hook up drawings, Support in preparation of Instrument construction package Monitor progress of the projects and timely reporting to managementRequired Experience and Qualifications B.E. in E.E.E., E.C.E., E & I. Fresher OR with 1 to 2 years experience in LABVIEW Able to manage and prioritize among several jobs simultaneously. Familiarity with computer functions & operations. Ability to provide guidance and the willingness to share knowledge and information with others. Stays abreast of emerging technologies and implements improvements as appropriate.
