Responsible for achieving product line AOP for the assigned geographyIdentify opportunities within the geographical territory for the assigned productmix and progress through the sales process to closure in order to meet orexceed revenue and margin targetsGenerate demand for the assigned product portfolio and the greater Perkinvalue proposition, by proactively engaging the customer base and byproviding superior customer experienceEducate, connect and develop the customer base by ensuring all mutuallybeneficial business opportunities are explored in a timely and professionalwayEnsure feedback including win/loss reasons, competitor intelligence andmarket knowledge is provided to the Product Management and broader salesteamsTechnical ExpertiseGain a strong understanding of the customers requirements and applicationneeds on a technical level, to ensure the most suitable solution is proposedCommission, install and train on product where relevant to maximisecustomer satisfaction and promoter scoreResolve customer technical issues post-sale promptly and courteouslyConduct product demonstrations, seminars and participate in customerengagement activities as required to support the growth strategyClose liaison with the Account Management team to work hand-in-hand onmore specialised or larger opportunities requiring support from suppliersand/or our own manufacturing facilitiesAttend training events as required to ensure skills are maintained up-to-dateand relevant for maximum benefit to the customerPipeline and Opportunity ManagementMaintain an accurate opportunity funnel for all assigned product, includingclosure dates and completed sales process (stakeholders engaged, nextsteps, competition etc)Maintain a forecast for the assigned product lines to an accuracy of +/- 10%on a monthly basis, reviewed as determined by the Category ManagerDiligently maintain a record of customer visits and interactions using the CRMplatform salesforce.com completed by the end of each week,
