Job Description

    The Applications Support Analyst 2 role is ideal for a developing professional who possesses specialty area knowledge to monitor systems, analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide recommendations for improvements. You will have a good understanding of how the team collaborates with others to achieve objectives within the area. As an Applications Support Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining a good understanding of apps support procedures and concepts, and leveraging knowledge of other technical areas to identify enhancements in existing applications and their operating environments. This will involve making recommendations for improvements, supporting the business by monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining knowledge bases. You will also collaborate with appropriate development and production support areas, assess the applicability of previous experiences, and evaluate options under unique circumstances. Your activities will have a direct impact on the business through the quality of services provided, as well as on the team and closely related teams. Effective communication, idea exchange, and participation in team improvement projects will be key aspects of this role.Qualifications:- 3-5 years experience or interest in apps support procedures, concepts, and other technical areas- Participation in process improvements- Ability to work under pressure- Analytical and troubleshooting skills- Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure preferred- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset- Skills in Python, Cloud Computing, Windows or Linux Operating systems, databases, MQs, and Monitoring/Observability Tools systems like ITRS, Grafana, Splunk, etc.Education: Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experienceAs an Applications Support Analyst 2, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing applications and their operating environments, contributing to the success of the team and the business.
