Job Description

This plays a key role for ensuring the robust management of the Logistics Delivery Operations freight budget and for driving performance governance and process standardization across the breadth of logistics delivery functions. We are looking for a self-driven person with attention to details who can play the role of both individual contributor and/or team leader as situation demands. The colleague is expected to have a deep sense of time criticality.Responsibilities:

  • Support the Logistics Delivery Performance and Governance global team with data analysis and reporting.
  • Understand the business requirement and be able to drive meaningful insights from the data analysis.
  • Work cross functionally with Logistics Solutions & Compliance, Logistics Platform Services and Intercompany Master data teams on various initiatives driven by IO Hub Chennai.
  • Lifecycle management of Logistics Delivery Operations freight budget - budget creation to actual management, aligning transportation plan with volume and supply plan across the network.
  • Responsible for supporting cost and service performance governance and continuous improvement through our Balanced Scorecard and Operational Review Management framework (BSC/ORM).
  • Provide value creation governance across all areas effecting Logistics Delivery Performance and Governance.
  • Actively contribute to the enhancement of the end-to-end mindset, behaviors and capabilities of the Logistics Delivery Operations team.
Qualifications:
  • University Degree in Systems, Advanced Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration (Management), Post-Graduate degree preferred. A degree in another field may be considered if accompanied by appropriate work experience.
  • 3-5 years experiences in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation in an international environment with preference of Pharmaceuticals or high-volume consumer goods industry.
  • Project management and analytical experience are essential.
  • Demonstrated cost management competency is preferred.
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in teams; including multi-functional and geographically dispersed project teams. Willing to work flexible hours to support global operations.
