    Assistant Manager (Active Safety)Exp- 6 to 8 yrsLocation- Tamil Nadu ChennaiNp- 15days to ImmediateRole: Assistant ManagerDept.: Chassis EngineeringLocation: ChennaiKey Responsibilities:o Product Development & Vehicle Launch support for Autonomous Driving & Chassis Electrical & Electronics Components.o Supplier selection, Audits, Evaluation knowledge for local, Regional & Global marketso Component Validation, Calibration & Performance evaluation as per International Standardso Project monitoring & Updates (Schedule, Costs, Quality, Issues) with weekly review meetings both with Regional & Global Teamso Manage Risk in Software development Process (Software risk management, Software Engineering management, and Software Engineering process)o Identifying risks and plan for mitigation & contingency proactively & Provide Day to day guidanceo Lead technical expert role between supplier & Manufacturing teamo Manage multiple projects simultaneously and guide in estimating completion dates and resource allocationo Responsible for leading benchmarking, market study & defining the advance technology features specific to respective market requirements.o Studying & implementing respective country regulations / Homologations along with Testing & Validation team.Qualifications, Experience and Competency Requirements:- Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automobile / Mechanical,Essential:o 6 to 8 Years of Automobile Industry Experience in Chassis EE Component Software development & Product Integration with ADAS systemo Vehicle Electrical & Electronics Advanced Active Safety Component Software development ABS / ESC (Electronic Stability Control) EPS Electric Power Steering / Tire Pressure Monitoring System and associated Sensors Developmento Coordination & interpersonal skillso Ability to deal with cross functional teamso Exposure to manufacturing Process will be additional advantageDesirable:Passionate about latest technologies & trends with Keen attention to automotive adaptation.Specific Skill Requirement:o Automotive Core Electrical / Electronic Components Development & Domian Knowledge:o Advanced Automotive Active Safety Systems and EE components etc.o Sound knowledge in Vehicle EE Architecture, Software Systems, and Communications / Network Protocols CAN and LIN.o Capable in Concept vehicle demonstration (EE components)o Knowledge in Autosar, Automotive Cyber Security Functional Safety and Diagnostics,o Knowledge in Vehicle level validation, calibration & performance evaluation / NCAPo Experience with supplier program managemento Experience with the use of automotive quality engineering practices and tools, such as T16949, ISO 26262, APQP, DFMEA and DVPR
