Job Description

    A Leading Paint Manufacturing Company is looking for an Assistant Manager - Qualityfor its plant in Sriperumbudur, Chennai
    • Ensure product specific quality requirements are met
    • Resolve customer complaints to ensure smooth functioning of customer line
    • Visiting to customer line for RCA & work on correlation
    • Understanding of Pant Application Defects
    • Ensure product approvals happen on time
    • Arrange resources required for testing and testing related concerns
    • Ensure batches meet the QRI (Quality Rate Index) requirements
    • Ensure color correlation for products & bell application
    • Knowledge on Bell application & requirements
    • Arrange resources required for testing and testing related concerns
    • Ensure batches meet the QRI (Quality Rate Index) requirements
    • Ensure CED tank management sample testing for the customer
    • Ensure procurement of lab consumables related to analytical testing
    • Ensure upkeep of analytical instruments
    • Ensure annual maintenance of the instruments
    • Act as the functional quality leader for Support Cell
    • Guide work cell team members to achieve set targets
    • Initiate measures to sustain and improve quality standards
    • Conduct internal audit (ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001)
    Experience:
    • Should have experience in quality assurance (in paint/chemical industry)
    • Should have experience in handling teams
    • Should have experience in resolution of quality issues faced by the customer
    • Should have an eye for detail
    • Should have an analytical bent of mind
    • Should be problem sensitive and solution oriented
    • Should value and practice integrity, customer centricity and innovation
