Job Description

    Assistant Manager - Supply and Demand AnalystYou will work with clients to run their supply planning function. Our focus is on technology-enabled business transformation, and we partner with some of the most advanced planning systems providers. You will impact business result by implementing effective product/production planning and forecasting process. You will impact business result by delivering planning against specific action plans including forecast analysis, production scheduling, transportation coordination, and critical business work process. You will also use advanced planning tools to visualize results, generate reports and balance key variables.Responsibilities
    • Directs activities of supply planning process to ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service.
    • Plan raw material actions to ensure production schedules can be met.
    • Minimize material shortages to meet customer performance delivery targets.
    • Maintain supply planning to target inventory levels by identifying and managing the safety stock levels for each commodity.
    • Select best method of forecasting and recommend purchases to achieve optimum inventory levels
    • Issue, monitor and report accuracy for vendor forecasts
    • Identify and report both internally and externally risk associated with product portfolio
    • Identify and effectively communicate new orders , change orders and order cancellations for purchasing execution.
    • Communicate potential impacts to production because of supply issues.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree
    • Proven experience in supply planning and knowledge of MRPII
    • Strong understand ing of at least one advanced planning system and its functionality, e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions
    • Ability to generate actionable insights from large qualitative and quantitative data
    • Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a team environment
    Preferred qualification
    • An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
    • Good work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn
