Role Overview:As an Associate at PwC in the Assurance department, your main focus will be on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include evaluating compliance with regulations, assessing governance and risk management processes, and related controls. Specifically in financial statement audit, you will work towards obtaining reasonable assurance about the accuracy of financial statements and issuing an auditors report.Key Responsibilities:- Execute various engagements as a field in-charge- Apply The Firms methodology while executing tasks- Engage with a team to ensure the smooth closure of projects on a timely basis- Possess thorough technical knowledge on Corporate Law, Accounting Standards, and Tax- Have basic knowledge of Indirect tax, FEMA, and Transfer Pricing- Demonstrate general business awareness- Exhibit good Excel, presentation, and report writing skills- Handle clients effectivelyQualification Required:- Years of experience required: 0-3 years- Education Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification- Mandatory skill sets: Thorough technical knowledge on Corporate Law, Accounting Standards, and Tax. Basic knowledge of Indirect tax, FEMA, and Transfer Pricing. General business awareness. Good Excel, presentation, and report writing skills. Client handling.- Preferred skill sets: Communicate with Impact & Empathy. Develop Self & Others through Coaching. Build & Sustain Relationships. Be Passionate about Client Service.
