Associate Vice President | Senior Lead Middleware Engineer

Job Description

Role Overview:As a part of Deutsche Brse Group in India, you will be contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of the Post-Trade IT landscape. Your role will involve working on architecture, infrastructure, and information security engineering activities to support the organizations market infrastructure and services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Web servers, application servers, and middleware infrastructure, both on-premises and in public Cloud deployments.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deliver Web server (httpd), Application Server (RedHat JBoss EAP), and other middleware infrastructure, targeting on-premises and public Cloud deployments using IaaS and PaaS models.- Evaluate new infrastructure solutions and innovative technologies, focusing on RedHat OpenShift and Cloud architectures.- Maintain and enhance automation/test frameworks, scripts, and DevOps connectors, along with their documentation.- Participate in approximately 6 major production implementations each year, which may require Saturday work.- Independently manage relationships with development, infrastructure, and information security teams involved in your projects.- Document the architecture and security of IT systems, including critical Internet customer-facing applications.- Collaborate with other Domain Experts and report to the Head of Unit.Qualifications Required:- Masters Degree (or equivalent) in computer science.- Hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, operating, and supporting Web application infrastructure, including httpd Web server and Java application server on Linux (preferably RedHat JBoss EAP).- Knowledge of challenges in multi-tier Web infrastructures, such as high-availability, security, Web servicing, and transaction management.- Ability to make, justify, and challenge technical design decisions.- Practical knowledge of TLS (PKI) and certificate/key deployment.- Proficiency in structuring and documenting IT architecture, design, and security concepts, with good technical writing skills in English.Additional Company Details:Deutsche Brse Group is a leading international exchange organization and market infrastructure provider, empowering investors, financial institutions, and companies to access global capital markets.
