Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1. Part development using APQP process as per MPDS guidelines. 2. Make Design for manufacturability analysis and provide inpuits to R&D for design improvements 3. Identify the Fixtures, Tooling & Gauges (FTG) required for the development of the part /product to meet design& quality requirements and sign off with all satke holders 4. Audit supplier manufacturing process during production trials for new part development. 58. Establish & prove out of Tools, Fixtures & manufacturing process to produce parts with required quality & Capacity. 6.Ensure parts produced by supplier meets design specifications,Validation & other requirements as mentioned in Drawing /SOR / CIR. 7.PPAP approval for all parts before start of production 8. Take appropriate actions wherever part does not meet Design specifications 9. Problem solving using 8D approach for parts rejected / failed during Manufacturing, Validation & field during development phase. 10.Supplier quality improvement by implementing best industry practicesKnowledge on Stamping, Plating, Powder coating & welding process Knowledge on FMEA, Control plan, MSA, Process capability & other statistical tools. Knowledge of using effective problem solving tools such as Kaizen, 8D etc. Knowledge on APQP & PPAP process Basic Knowledge on TS16949 QMS.Experience6-8 YearsIndustry PreferredAutomotive, Industrial Electrical & ElectronicsQualificationsDiploma/ BE/B.Tech in Mechanical EngineeringGeneral RequirementsJob Segment: Engineer, Electrical, Welding, Coating, Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive ,
